ALL WE ARE SAYING, IS GIVE PEACE A CHANCE!

Come walk with us this 4th of July.  We are taking this opportunity to make a statement in our community about what's important to all of us - PEACE!  NOT WAR!

Wake UP Sonoma visits the great American value of peace and democracy.  On this 250th celebration of independence, we remind ourselves that living in peace with other nations is the finest form of honoring our constitution and founders.  As in the 1960’s peace anthem by John Lennon – we urge humanity to transcend the divisions that can sometimes divide us and we urge all to call for Global peace.  As the song goes, “all we are saying, is give peace a chance” as we pay tribute to those Americans who have fought for peace and who have lived through the real price of war.

Wear your finest red, white and blue, and fancy it up with whimsical notes of John Lennon's message from the 60's.  

Bring signs that demonstrate the values of Peace, unity, and the American values of democracy.  

We need at least 50 people to walk with us - MORE IS GOOD TOO!
