WHY DO
WE PROTEST? We’re standing together against the abuses of power, cruelty, and corruption. On March 28, we gather to remind President Trump and his enablers: America has no kings! Whether you're outraged by attacks by federal agents on everyday civilians, continued threats to civil rights, skyrocketing costs, abductions and disappearances, the gutting of essential services, or the assault on free speech, this moment is for you. Whether you've been in the fight for years or you're just fed up and ready to take action, this moment is for you.
We need to build a massive, visible, nonviolent, national rejection of this crisis. On March 28, we will see events across the country, in major cities and small towns in every state. We’ve seen Minneapolis stand, and now is our turn. Our goal is to show that the people—the majority—are taking action to stop the corruption and power grab.

The Transgender community is under attack. Not just in Kansas, but directly by this administration throughout our Nation. But, quietly, and profoundly, Suzanne Ford ED of SF Pride continues to be a visible and powerful leader who is moving transgender rights forward every day. Come see this timely documentary, and be part of a conversation that will promise to make you think about how to stay strong in these times, and ways to be an effective Ally. When asked, “How will this moment be remembered 25 years from now?” Suzanne Ford, Executive Director of San Francisco Pride, reflects on what today will mean for the next generation of trans leaders.
Young trans people living through this period will one day look back and see what they built together. They will remember that they held space for one another. That they stood together during a difficult time. That they shaped what comes next.
The previous generation lived through the AIDS crisis and reshaped the LGBTQ rights movement. Suzanne believes this generation is doing the same — building a bond that can’t be broken.
That’s the heart of Beyond the Rainbow: The Intersection of Pride.
