PROTESTS MUST CONTINUE TO BE VISIBLE

”The people of Minnesota are an inspiration. They’re out in the freezing cold protesting ICE brutality. They’re blowing whistles to warn their communities when raids are imminent. They're delivering groceries to their vulnerable neighbors and forming human chains around schools during afternoon pickups. And they’re doing it all in the face of a full-on terror campaign by the Trump regime that’s already taken the life of one member of their community and shattered countless others. We can’t leave them to do this work alone. So in response to calls from activists, labor groups, clergy, and other community leaders in Minneapolis, we’re mobilizing for a nationwide day of solidarity and action -- concrete, strategic action -- this Friday. “
There is no reason why we can’t show up for Minnesota on the streets of Sonoma. Grab a group of people and find a street corner, consider joining the ongoing vigil group on Fridays at noon, or gather in another local very visible street corner. We are leading up to the next big protest. From what I understand it will be announced next week. Stay tuned for that announcement.
